Dare to be Scared

So today I purchased TWO Halloween deals, that are going to scare me so much to tears. I'm terrified of haunted houses, but figured I'd be brave and see how these are.

The first one is Nightmare: Fairy Tales -- New York's Most Horrifying Haunted House. Touted as a truly terrifying Halloween experience, this haunted house is designed to scare the pants off of the most steeled adult. This year's theme is Fairy Tales and Nightmare has stayed true the original, un-Disneyfied versions at their most gruesome and horrific. Originally collected by the Grimm Brothers and Aesop, fairy tales were stories of cannibalism, mutilation, murder and suicide designed to scare children into behaving and the Nightmare crew brings these evil stories to life. Your visit to Nightmare: Fairy Tales concludes with a viewing of The Experiment, a 5-D experience where you are the subject.
Sounds very interesting, so of course I HAD to buy it. You can buy yours as well here: https://www.goldstar.com/join?p=F1311370N

The second spooky deal I purchased is for Blood Manor. A classic. Tickets are half off - General Admission is $15 and RIP Admission is $27 via the following link:

Get yours today before the holiday passes us. Get spooked!

$13 for Two AMC Movie Tickets

The first deal I'm going to share with you is a good one - $13 for two AMC movie tickets, which has a value of up to $24. You can purchase them using the following link: http://eversave.com/share/6rRI

Sometimes you can hardly catch your train, let alone leap from car to car in a death- defying fight sequence. You had to kiss several frogs to find you prince (who, though you love him, definitely does not have Matthew McConaughey's abs). And while childhood may have flown by, things haven't been so simple now that you're Big. Life may not be quite like the movies, but with the help of today's Save, you can certainly experience a little movie magic of your own. Pay just $13 for two AMC Silver Experience™ movie tickets to get in on the cinematic action.

Catching the latest blockbuster doesn't have to break your budget. For half the price, you can watch all the star-crossed romances, brooding protagonists and action-packed disaster flicks your friends have been talking about. Best of all, they're coming to a theatre near you. Sit back and enjoy the show at any AMC Theatres®, AMC® Loews, AMC Showplace, Cineplex® Odeon, Magic Johnson and Star theatres.

Don't forget — it takes two to make movie night magical, so share this deal with your favorite cinema companion. With all the money you'll both save, you can even afford to share your favorite soda fountain sips or munch on buttery popcorn during a particularly spooky show. Just don't blame us if he pulls the ole fake yawn maneuver.

To snag this Save, simply enter your shipping information, and we'll send this ticket your way. Just make sure to act quickly before the curtain closes on this great deal!

Daily Deal Whore

I'm a daily deal whore - yes, a whore. I subscribe to every daily deal site's newsletters, and on top of that, the aggregator site newsletters. In total, I probably receive about 50-75 emails a day regarding deals, group buying, ways to save cash. I've never counted how many I receive, but there's a lot.

I keep a spreadsheet of all the deals I've purchased. Yes, that's right - I said a spreadsheet. Call me anal, it's okay. I am. My spreadsheet consists of MANY columns - what the deal is, the site I purchased it from, the name, address, phone number and website or email address of the place of business, how much I paid for the deal, what the actual value is, the expiration date, if I used the deal or not....and any notes I may have for myself. I even keep a tally of how much money I've earned in referral bonuses - just over $100 so far. I've only started purchasing deals this year, and have spent $1,704 so far. Almost $2,000! The amount I've saved though, compared with the value.... get ready... $8,312.93.

Now, many of you would now ask, has she actually used these deals? Or did she spend all of this money for no reason? Out of the 50 deals purchased to date, I've used 30 so far. Not too shabby. And yes, I've NEEDED to purchase all of them. Of course I have. I keep repeating that to myself. I wouldn't have received laser hair removal treatments (come on, 3 for $99, A-MA-ZING), facials, massages, restaurant discounts. movie tickets, haircuts, and more....even including a trash can that opens by itself when you walk within a foot of it. Of course I needed that deal. ; -)

Why the need to explain all of this? I'm frugal. I've saved a ton of money on things that I would normally pay full price for. And I'm here today to show you how to do the exact same thing. I hope you learn from me the great art of how to Steal the Deal!
